How to fit your greengauges ammeter
CAI Ammeter
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Under no circumstances should any connection be made to the negative side of the battery.
- Only to be fitted to negative earth vehicles.
- Disconnect your vehicle’s battery prior to installation.
Wiring
See diagram
- Connect terminal A to the positive side of the alternator.
- Connect terminal B to the positive side of the battery (do not break or splice into the starter feed, but the wire which provides power to the rest of the electrical system)
Illumination
- Assemble bulb into holder
- Install bulb and holder into the lamp aperture at the rear of the gauge.
- Connect one wire from the bulb and holder assembly to the power feed for the fascia lighting, connect the other wire to earth/ground via the vehicle chassis/body.
Installation
These gauges require a 2 1/16inch (52mm) hole in the fascia panel. Insert the gauge into the hole and secure with the fixing clamp, washers and knurled nuts supplied.
