Designing your greengauges instruments
Becoming an instrument designer couldn’t be simpler, the greengauges site uses a two step approach to give you the look you’ve always wanted for your project.
STEP ONE
- Click on the link DESIGN INSTRUMENTS
- The Design stage of the process requires you to have the Macromedia Flash plugin version 4 or above installed. Alternatively there is a step by step design wizard which requires no plug in.
- Here you will choose the dial colour, the graphics colour, the shape and finish of your bezel, and the colour of the instrument pointer.
- Click on the drop boxes at the top of the page to see the menu options for each of the above components. You can change the design in any sequence and as often as you like, simply by clicking on the relevant option.
- Your design will be created in real time using the latest shockwave flash technology.
- Although the page shows all the instruments that are available in the greengauges range, you need only indicate your needs by checking the relevant box next to the gauge. When the web page loads you will see that the speedometer box is pre checked, you can uncheck it simply by clicking on the box.
- Once you’ve designed the look for your gauges and told us which gauges that you would like, you’re now ready for step two.
STEP TWO
- Click on the step two button, GREENGAUGES STEPTWO
remember you can always use the back button on your browser or the design button on this page if you want to change your design.
- Here we ask you for some technical details which will help the factory convert your design into reality, for speedos we need to know the speed range that you would like, in either miles per hour or kilometres per hour. For speedos and tachos we also need to know the gauge diameter that you would like to have made for you.
- Step two will also confirm to you, in words, the details of the gauges that you have designed, to make certain that your design is everything that you want it to be.
That’s all there is to the design process, you can now go ahead and order your gauges
