Greengauges Water Temp Sender
PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING THE JOB
- The water temperature sender records up to 250 degrees fahrenheit or 120 degrees Centigrade. It has either a 5/8" UNF or a 1/8" x 27 NPT thread, and a single blade connection to the water temperature gauge. The 1/8" x 27 NPT sender kit comes complete with adapters that will allow fitment to 1/4" x 18, 3/8" x 18 and 1/2" x14 mounting holes.
- The sender should not be overtightened on installation, but if problems with sealing are encountered then a little PTFE tape on the threads of the sender usually does the trick, making sure that the PTFE does not interefere with a good earth connection between the body of the sender and it's mounting position.
